Page 8 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • February 23, 2011 Ramsey On Feb. 4 at 8:43 p.m., Patrolman Brian Arsi conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 17 on a Pennsylvania registered vehicle. The operator of the vehicle was found to have three separate New Jersey traffic warrants. The operator, a 37-year-old Albany, New York man was arrested and required to post bail to satisfy the warrants. At 11:12 a.m. on Feb. 5, Patrolman Jeff Guilfoyle was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a report of a shoplifter in custody. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 47-year-old Bushkill, Pennsylvania man was arrested for shoplifting. The same day at 12:09 p.m., Patrolman Craig Weber was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a report of a shoplifter in custody. A 70-year-old Paramus man was arrested for shoplifting. Detective Brad Smith conducted a motor vehicle stop on North Central Avenue at 8:49 p.m. on Feb. 8. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from the driver. At the conclusion of field sobriety tests, a 44-year-old Hamburg man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. At 11:06 p.m. the same day, Patrolman Anthony Fiore was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a report of a shoplifter in custody. A 49-year-old Chester, New York man was arrested for shoplifting. On Feb. 10 at 11:39 p.m., Patrolman Adam Macaluso was dispatched to an Island Road apartment for a noise complaint. A 47-year-old Ramsey man was arrested for possession of marijuana. On Feb. 12 at 12:51 a.m., Patrolman Casey Hines was traveling Route 17 South and conducted a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation. A 41-year-old Warwick, New York man was arrested for possession of marijuana. The same day at 3:43 a.m., Patrolman Vasili Pieratos was dispatched to Prospect Street after a cab driver reported being assaulted by a fare. At the conclusion of the investigation, three Ramsey men, ages 21, 21, and 22, were arrested for robbery.
