Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • February 9, 2011 Ramsey Police report multiple incidents On Jan. 11 at 12:34 a.m., Patrolman Anthony Fiore was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Grandview Terrace. Upon arrival, the driver was identified and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from him. At the conclusion of field sobriety testing, a 26-yearold Ramsey man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. On Jan. 15 at 2:26 a.m., Patrolman Mike Parise observed a speeding vehicle on Main Street and conducted a motor vehicle stop. During the stop, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected from the vehicle. At the conclusion of the stop, a 23-year-old Beachwood man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. At 1:22 a.m. on Jan. 25, Patrolman Craig Weber was traveling Route 17 North when he conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle being driven in a careless manner. During the stop, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from the driver. At the conclusion of field sobriety tests, a 50-year-old Mahwah man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. On Jan. 26 at 2:56 p.m., Patrolman Erik Sanders was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 54-year-old Upper Saddle River man was arrested for shoplifting.
