Letters to the Editor
(continued from page 14) Mayor John DaPuzzo did not stop the developer and listen to the people of Mahwah. Prior to the vote, I wrote a letter to each council member asking for information and sharing concerns for this project. The four people I did not hear back from were the four who voted to change Mahwah from a county parkland to what is now being called “DaPuzzoville.” John Roth, I am still waiting for your response. America was built on many fronts, but I remember “for the people by the people” unless you are a Mahwah resident. Council President John Roth, Mayor DaPuzzo, and council members Harry Williams, Samuel Alderisio, and Roy Larson, I guess you don’t believe in this phrase in the U.S. Constitution. I hope our future mayor and council have the sense to listen to the people and respond when called or written. Mayor Martel always responded. Please rescind the mall approval. John Herron Mahwah
