At 12:51 p.m. on April 5, a 31-year-old Ramsey man turned himself in to satisfy a criminal warrant. Officer Jaclyn Morris processed the arrest. On April 7, a bail bonds company presented a 44-year-old Jersey City woman to satisfy a criminal warrant. Sergeant Brian Lyman processed the arrest. Officer Erik Sanders was dispatched to the intersection of South Franklin Turnpike and Abbey Court for a motor vehicle crash on Sunday, April 10 at 1:52 a.m. During the crash investigation, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from one of the drivers. At the conclusion of field sobriety testing, a 25-year-old Mahwah man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. On April 11 at 7:35 p.m., the Ramsey Police Department was advised by a Ramsey Square business that multiple individuals were shoplifting from the store. Detective Brian Huth and Officer Jeff Guilfoyle Ramsey Police Report responded. At the conclusion of the investigation, four individuals were arrested, including a New York City man, 24; and three individuals from Spring Valley, New York. The Spring Valley residents were a 22-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman, and a 33-year-old woman. On April 12, Officer Vasili Pieratos received information on the location of a possible fugitive from the State of Florida staying at a Route 17 South motel in Ramsey. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 22-year-old female from Kissimmee, Florida was arrested. On April 14 at 3:13 p.m., Officer Pieratos was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a shoplifter in custody. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 64year-old Mahwah woman was arrested for shoplifting. Officer Morris was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a shoplifter in custody at 2:26 p.m. on April 15. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 52-year-old Newark, Delaware woman was arrested for shoplifting.
