The Ramsey Ambulance Corps and the Ramsey Rescue Squad recently held a joint fundraiser at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club. Attendees of “A Night in Havana” enjoyed an evening in old time Havana, Cuba, with dinner, dancing, special auctions, games, and a genuine cigar roller. “We know our town, like everywhere else, is tightening the budget due to lessened revenues. Here was a chance for both departments to have a good time while raising funds for training and equipment,” said Ramsey Rescue Squad President Michael Adams. “We would like to thank the members of our departments who have worked tirelessly and without whom we could not have enjoyed the evening. Thank you also to the retailers and businesses that have supported us.” JoAnn Sanchez and Laura Behrmann served as Fundraising Committee co-chairs. The committee also included Anthony Sanchez, Ashley Gardiner, Ed Przebieglec, Kelly Vriesema, Richard Vander Wall, and Tommy Carroll.
