Hospital Auxiliary’s Fashion Show fundraiser featured fresh looks from the hospital’s Kurth Cottage Gift Shop. Thanks to the shop’s Manager/Buyer Andrea Delmont, the selection of fashions at Kurth Cottage Gift Shop has been updated and retooled, so the auxiliary’s fundraiser was better than ever. Now in her eighth year at Kurth Cottage Gift Shop, Delmont began her career as a buyer and merchandiser with Federated Department Stores. She also worked in management at several other well-known national specialty
and department stores in Boston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. Although Kurth Cottage Gift Shop is known for its selection of plush toys, fresh flower arrangements, and sundries, Delmont has used her background in fashion to add the Chic Boutique to the shop. Delmont selects items that appeal to a wide-range of people, and her customers give her “reviews” every day. Thus far, hospital visitors and employees who patronize Kurth Cottage Gift Shop have provided Delmont with positive feedback.
