She was a member of the Mahwah Senior Center. She was a past Eucharistic minister at Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Tenafly. She sang in the choir and was a past Eucharistic minister at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Mahwah. Adolph Janitschek Jr. of Ledgewood, formerly of Ramsey, died Sept. 18. He was 84. He was the former owner of the New Jersey Art Foundry. Before retiring in 1994 he was the vice president of sales and operations at Advance Transformer Co., a subsidiary of North American Philips, where he worked for 34 years. He was a member of Activities Unlimited group, Partners in Pride, and an early member of Gardens of Wyckoff, and Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff. He earned his masters degree in history at Columbia University. He taught history and coached boys’ basketball at Bergen Catholic and Teaneck high schools from 1958 to 1992. He is tied for the thirdmost victories in Bergen County, with 536 wins. He ran the Bergen Biddy Basketball Camp. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Marjory (nee Boyle), his children Hannah Mulchrone and Daniel Mazziotta, three grandchildren, and his sister Betty Mazziotta. He later worked for Black Millwork in Allendale for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Gay (nee Robie) Urquhart. He was predeceased by his brother William Urquhart.
