The PhD Project, an award-winning program to increase diversity in management, has inducted its first members into the newly-established PhD Project Hall of Fame. The inductions took place at the organization’s annual conference in Chicago. Allendale resident Bernard J. Milano, president of The PhD Project and of the KPMG Foundation based in Montvale, was among those who received this special honor. The other members are Quiester Craig, Ph.D., dean of the School of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University; John A. Elliott, Ph.D.,

dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College; Andrew J. Policano, Ph.D., dean of The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine; and Melvin T. Stith, Ph.D., dean of the Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. The PhD Project Hall of Fame’s inaugural inductees were honored with statuettes at organization’s annual conference on Nov. 18. Starting in 2012, a new class of inductees will be selected annually, with supporters of The PhD Project and the public invited to submit nominations for each year’s class. (continued on page 27)
