Let Kyle and Denise help make your next event a hit. “I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 30 years,” Denise said. “When the space in downtown Allendale opened up, we decided to pool our talents.” After remodeling the building, the two developed a well-received repertoire for breakfast and lunch, along with Kyle’s “crazy specials,” and a children’s menu. “We appeal to a whole Denise Kimball and Kyle Cauwenberghs spectrum,” Denise says, adding that she cooks vegan dishes and gluten-free fare in addition to the array of wraps, salads, and Kyle’s slowroasted pulled pork served with special barbecue sauce. The chunky chicken salad and corned beef hash are also favorites. Because homemade food takes time to prepare, Kyle and Denise encourage diners to relax, and perhaps enjoy freshly squeezed lemonade, while their meals are being made.
