Country Hoedown set The Contemporary Club of Ho-Ho-Kus will host a Country Hoedown fundraiser on Saturday, June 11. This event will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Brookside Racquet and Swim Club at 480 Brookside Avenue. Festivities will include cocktails, dancing, mechanical bull riding, an auction, and more. Prizes will be awarded for the best country costumes. Tickets are $75 per person in advance and $80 at the door. Society hosts wine dinner benefit The Ho-Ho-Kus Historical Society will host a wine dinner at Café Amici, 4 Sycamore Avenue, on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 p.m. The six-course dinner will be prepared by Chef Ciro Giammanco. Wines will be provided by Chuck Russo of Carlo Russo’s Wine and Spirit World. A vegan menu will be available upon request. Tickets are $65 per person. Seating is limited. Classic British ‘car gathering’ set The New Jersey Triumph Association will present its British car gathering at The Hermitage located on Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus on Saturday, June 11 at 9 a.m. The event highlights classic and antique British sports cars including vehicles built by Triumph, Austin Healey, Jaguar, MG, Lotus, and others. In addition to the more than 100 historic and antique cars expected, the event attracts a number of spectators which, in addition to exposing the classic cars, highlights The Hermitage, a historic house which is maintained by the Friends of The Hermitage. Hermitage presents photo exhibit The Hermitage Museum will present the new exhibit, “Images of Yesteryear: A Photographic Journey,” on Sunday, June 12. The display will run through Oct. 2. The exhibit features the work of Master Photographer Jeffrey Steccato, the 2010 National Award Recipient and owner of Haviland Photography in Ho-Ho-Kus. The exhibit will include more than three dozen original works. A special section of the exhibit showcases “Ho-HoKus: Then and Now,” in which Steccato presents a dozen

Many joined to recognize the local war veterans during the Memorial Day Parade held in Ho-Ho-Kus.
