Page 12 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • June 1, 2011 Waldwick Mistretta is medalist Artist Andrea Mistretta of Waldwick received a bronze medal at the 48th Annual Art Directors Club of New Jersey show for her art and design of the book she also authored, ‘Mardi Gras Parade of Posters.’ Mistretta’s book is a 25-year retrospective of her New Orleans Mardi Gras posters. A portion of the book’s proceeds benefit New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity’s Musician’s Village. The Art Directors Club of New Jersey is a statewide, non-profit organization of art directors, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, art educators, and other creative professionals whose talent and services contribute to excellence in the design and production of advertising, promotion, and publishing.
