Lakeland Bank recently recognized 10 employees for their 10 years of service to the company. Honorees included: Laura Ashplant, Andrea Bajek, Giuseppe Cascio, Dan Fetterman, Teresa Kowal, Maura Lapinski, Mariana Nobre, Stephen Novak, Hannah Shea-Nomer, and Jessica Zeek. “We are very pleased to recognize these employees for their exemplary service to the bank over the past 10 years. Their continued commitment to Lakeland and its customers has solidified our focus as a community bank,” said Thomas J. Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank. Ashplant joined Lakeland Bank in the loan operations department, transferred to the BSA/AML department in 2006, and transitioned to her current position in the physical security department as a physical security specialist. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and recently earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/economic crime investigation from Utica College. Ashplant resides in West Milford. Bajek started with Lakeland Bank as a part-time teller in Park Place and became full-time in 2005. This Bergen Community College graduate lives in Milford, Pennsylvania.

Cascio joined Lakeland Bank as a float teller and worked his way up to his current position as branch manager of the North Haledon office. He graduated as a tourist associate from ITT Marco Polo in Italy in addition to graduating from the Italian Army in 1997 having specialized in strategic organization. He is currently working on his CFT diploma and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He resides in Wyckoff. Fetterman, who has over 20 years of banking experience, joined Lakeland Bank as a customer service representative for the Bloomingdale office.
