She is survived by her husband Carl Billeter, her children Elizabeth Tullo, Christopher, and Victoria, and her siblings Eileen Leino, James, Joseph, and MaryAnn Gallagher. She was 90. She was a member of the seniors group of Demarest. She is survived by her children Rose De Marco, Kim Scavo, and Bryan Garabo, seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and her sister Winifred Garran. She was predeceased by her husband Michael J. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the owner/operator of Vanderbeck Fence Company Inc. in Waldwick for 38 years. He is survived by his companion Ruth Cochran, his children Edwin Michael, Arlene Catherine Janitschek, and Kurt Frederick, stepchildren Glenn R. Cochran and Todd W. Cochran, 12 grandchildren, and his siblings Bettyanne Detrano and Jack Grosman. He was predeceased by his wife Erica Grosman, and his brother Donald. Angela “Nellie” Karpowich, nee Wozniak, of Mahwah died Nov. 29. She was 97. She graduated from Ramsey High School and was secretary and companion to Mrs. Annie C. Winter of Mahwah for many years. She was associated with the Mahwah Public Library in several capacities for 40 years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Mahwah. She Edwin D. He received a DDS degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1948. He practiced dentistry in Paterson for six years, and moved to Wyckoff in 1955, where he practiced until 2011. In the 1970s, he was elected to the Glen Rock Board of Education, served as its president for two years, and was an officer of the New Jersey State School Boards Association. He was a member of the Wyckoff Lions Club, played clarinet and mandolin in the Glen Rock Pops Orchestra, and played mandolin with Justa Buncha Banjos. He taught English as a Second Language. He is survived by his wife Edith (nee Weisberg), his children James of Irvington, New York and Ellen Kent of Princeton, and one granddaughter Antonia Bess Cruz-Kent. She is survived by her children Joseph LaBruna of Succasunna, Vincent LaBruna of Mahwah, and Michael LaBruna of Oakland, six grandchildren, and her brothers Vincent Altomare of Mahwah and Robert Altomare of Carey, North Carolina. Arthur Larsen of Midland Park, formerly of Norwood and Demarest, died Nov. 25. He was 89. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was born in Stavanger, Norway. He was an advertising copywriter on Madison Avenue in New York City. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was co-owner, along with her husband, of Orchard Properties, LLC. She was a member of the first graduating class of Ramsey High School. She is survived by her husband Anthony of Upper Saddle River, her daughters Joan Gundersen of Mahwah, Carole Grisafi of Woodcliff Lake, and Nancy Smith of Mahwah, three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and her sisters Ann Esposito of Saddle River and Victoria Gudger of Toms River. She belonged to the Mahwah Senior Center and the choir at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Mahwah. She is survived by her children Jacqueline Shalhoub of Mahwah, Joanne Minard of North Carolina, Renee Shalhoub of Mahwah, and Raymond Shalhoub of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
