service. Glen Rock officials said Ridgewood Taxi is still providing rides, but is no longer accepting senior citizen discounts from booklets sold both in Glen Rock and Ridgewood. The new operator will be allowed into the building at 28 North Broad Street, which was reportedly padlocked by the State of New Jersey at press time, for some refurbishment and painting. The Ridgewood Board of Education has approved supplemental pay for teachers who serve as advisors for cocurricular activities in the schools. Erika Pifher received $782 for 20 hours as advisor to the Art Club, and Stephen Olanin received $1,564 for 40 hours as advisor to the Chime Club. Adopted is slated for Oct. 26. The rent for the building will be $32,000 a year, with a security deposit payment of 150 percent of the monthly rent of $2,700 in advance.
