All are welcome to attend this free event, and books will be available for purchase and signing. Beck is a marketing consultant and professor of marketing, advertising, and sales management in the MBA program at Rutgers University. He was a Hebrew School principal and the founder of B’nai Keshet Reconstructionist Synagogue in Montclair. Professor Beck brings a new perspective to the study of Torah, in which he explores various Bible stories in light of modern-day marketing techniques. His premise is that the Jewish, Christian, and Moslem faiths would not exist today had it not been for the powerful marketing techniques used by the authors of the Bible. Glen Rock Jewish Center is located at 682 Harristown Road. For more information, contact Elaine Ziff-Leibman at adulted@grjc.org or visit www.grjc.org.
