Tithe benefits corps
Atlantic Stewardship Bank recently donated $500 to the Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps as part of the bank’s tithing program. ASB shares 10 percent of its pre-taxable income with Christian and non-profit organizations. The Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps is extremely grateful for the donation from ASB. The ambulance corps is 100 percent volunteer-based and is supported through generous donations from the residents and businesses of Wyckoff. The corps is 82 years old, one of the oldest in New Jersey, and continues to provide lifesaving services to the people of Wyckoff every day of the year totally free of charge. The corps also provides free blood pressure screenings at the YMCA, free EMT training for prospective members, EMS coverage during township events, File of Life Program, and CPR training at a minimal cost to cover expenses.
