The 66th Annual Antiques Show and Sale to be held
The 66th Annual Antiques Show and Sale at Christ Church, Ridgewood, will be held on Friday, March 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Over 30 dealers from the tri-state area and beyond will display antique furniture and collectibles, ranging from formal to country, including antique linens, art deco tiles and ceramics, handmade rugs, books and maps, Greek and Roman antiquities, sterling silver and fine estate jewelry. Appraiser John R. Clark will be joining the show this year, scheduled to appraise items on Friday and Saturday afternoon, for a nominal fee. The Cottage Café, featuring Victoria Jackson Fallon Catering, will serve a full menu all day. Lunch will be served both days or and dinner on Friday evening will feature live music. Admission is $7 ($5 for senior citizens or with announcement). All proceeds from ticket sales and the Cottage Café will benefit Christ Church. Complimentary shuttle service to nearby parking will be provided. Christ Church is located at 105 Cottage Place at the corner of Franklin Avenue in Ridgewood. Ridgewood Parks and Recreation will offer the following golf instruction sessions for children: The Spring Break Mini Camp for children in kindergarten through grade eight will be offered April 12 through 14 at The Irene Habernickel Family Park. The cost is $60 per person; all equipment will be provided. Spring instruction will run on Wednesdays, May 4, 11, 18, and 25 and June 1 and 8 at the following times: kindergarten through grade three will meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; grades four through eight will meet from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Classes will be held at the Irene Habernickel Family Park, 1057 Hillcrest Road, except for the May 18 session, which will be held at the Bellair Putting Green, 158 Bellair Road. The cost is $120 per person; all equipment will be provided. Instructors from Total Golf Adventures of Bergen County teach all aspects of the game, including swing fundamentals, rules, etiquette, and scoring.
