Family Chiropractors of Ridgewood Spring Into Health and Support Baby Basics
octors Mary Ann Fiscella and Louise DiGia of Family Chiropractors of Ridgewood announce a “Spring Into Health” fundraiser on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 in their office at 89 North Maple Avenue. The doctors plan to raise money for Baby Basics, a division of Children’s Aid and Family Services, in return for chiropractic services. New patients will receive a free chiropractic consultation, examination and spinal Xrays (if needed) when they make a $15 donation to Baby Basics. The normal value for these services is $225. Dr. Mary Ann Fiscella and Dr. Louise DiGia Baby Basics is a volunteer program that provides free diapers, formula, and other baby essential to low-income families with children under two years of age. They also provide counseling, parental education, a support base, and referrals as needed. In their 22 years of practice, the doctors of Family Chiropractors have supported many community causes. They have held numerous food drives for Social Services of Ridgewood and fundraisers for Shelter Our Sisters in Bergen County. “We feel it is important to give back to our community,” says Dr. Mary Ann. “The chiropractic philosophy is about removing obstacles in a person’s spine and nervous system. We call them subluxations. We like to support organizations that help remove obstacles in a person’s life as well.” “When a person’s spine is in alignment,” adds Dr. Louise, “their nervous system can work at 100%. Besides resolving their pain, we have many patients reporting that their allergies, asthma, and headaches are better. They tell us they sleep better and have more energy.” The doctors care for patients in all stages of life: pregnant moms, newborns, teens, adults, and seniors. Often they care for two or three generations within the same family. To schedule your “Spring Into Health” free first visit and contribute to the Baby Basics drive, call (201)444-6656. Appointments will be available on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26. FCR is conveniently located at 89 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, across from Kings.
