Page 8 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • June 8, 2011 Ridgewood Claire Grande, assistant vice president for Women’s and Children’s Services at The Valley Hospital, has been honored as a 2011 recipient of the Bergen County YWCA’s TWIN (Tribute to Women in Industry) Award. Grande, who has many years of experience in nursing and nursing leadership, came to Valley in 2008. In her current role, she oversees all inpatient and outpatient units that focus on the care of women and children. Some Grande receives Bergen County YMCA’s TWIN Award of her accomplishments include development of a maternal-child holistic birthing program and changing the delivery of care to increase the mother-baby bonding time. Grande received her award at the 36th Annual TWIN Awards Dinner held at the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck. The TWIN Diamond Award bestowed upon each honoree is designed to signify the many facets of a woman’s life.
