Ridgewood June 8, 2011 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 3 Donna Ten Hoeve took her oath of office as Ridgewood’s new deputy municipal clerk at last week’s council work session. “She is not related to the former village manager, James Ten Hoeve, so we can put that rumor to rest -- or try to,” Ridgewood Mayor Keith Killion said as he and the members of the Ridgewood Village Council welcomed the newest member of Ridgewood’s municipal staff. Heather Mailander, Ridgewood’s longterm village clerk, will remain in charge of the clerk’s office. Ten Hoeve, a graduate of Westwood High School, was the owner and manager of a construction company operated out Donna Ten Hoeve named deputy clerk in village of Hillsdale for the past 30 years. She has also taken courses in municipal clerical responsibilities with the Rutgers University extension division. Her two children are both graduates of Pascack Hills High School. She said she is looking forward to working with the Ridgewood administrative staff. In other business, Village Manager Kenneth Gabbert, on the initiative of Council Member Paul Aronsohn, said he would try to work out some sort of accommodation for a resident of Broad Street whose all-night parking permit may have been compromised.
