He is survived by his wife Sandra Boyatan (nee Desilets), his son Mert Boyatan, his step-daughter Beth Kelly O’Keefe, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his step-son Brian Patrick Kelly. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Edward Alfred Dittrich of Glen Rock died May 28. He was 98. He was on the board of governors for the Federal Reserve Bank, New York, New York, and he had been a bank examiner for the City of Paterson. He was a parishioner of Saint Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock. He is survived by his children Teresa Welch of Warrington, Pennsylvania, and Alfreda Moschella of Succasunna, nine grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Teresa M. Elizabeth Ellen Fitzmaurice, nee Schaefer, of Wyckoff died May 28. She was 44. She attended Washington School in Wyckoff and was a 1985 graduate of Ramapo High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in business from Adelphi College in 1989. She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She received her master’s degree in graphic design at Pratt Institute in 1993 and was head of the art department at Cyber Warrior in Fair Lawn. She was a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church. She is survived by her husband James Fitzmaurice, her children Zachary Fitzmaurice and Katherine Elizabeth, her parents Carol and Chuck Schaefer of Franklin Lakes, her sister Carolyn Weininger, and her brother Charles Schaefer. Jennifer Forsa, nee Johnson, of Ridgewood died May 31. She was 38. She was a 1994 graduate of University of Delaware. Marguerite M. “Peggy” Gaul of Ridgewood, formerly of Holyoke, Massachusetts, died May 27. She was 88. She had a career in marketing administration, scheduling shows, and traveling throughout the country and Canada for the Ice Follies. She also worked for Paul Newsome Public Relations in New York City. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood and was a professed Dominican lay member. She is survived by her children Martha Ann Gaul of New York City, John Gaul of Ridgewood, Bernardine Hare of Florham Park, and Frank Gaul of Glen Rock, and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John P. (Jack) Gaul, her brothers Thomas F. Burke of East Longmeadow and Dr. John J. Burke of Holyoke, and her sister Teresa Bigelow Suffield, Connecticut. Hillier of Mahwah, formerly of Passaic, died May 30. She was 57. She is survived by her husband George, her daughter Lillian Gelman, and her sisters Susan Waltman and Marilyn Stearns. She had been a librarian at the Ramsey Free Public Library. As a volunteer, she taught an environmental program to school children, worked in the medical library at Fanny Allen Hospital, with programs at the Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, the Lund Family Center Day Care, Baird Center and Franklin Square Day Care Center, Respite House. She was active in the Champlain Association and in her church. She is survived by her children Richard Many of Durham, New Hampshire and Cindy Dailey of East Hardwick, Vermont, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Stephen C. She is survived by her siblings Patrice Nyhan, Pamela Beers, Jayne Press, Jack Ohlson, and Kurt Ohlson, and nine nieces and nephews. He was 85. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he was a crane operator for Hackensack Auto Wreckers in Hackensack. He was a member of the VFW Post #3484 of Saddle Brook. He is survived by his children Gina Pietrocco and Lisa Sheriff, his stepchildren Anthony Vallone and Linda Malone, six grandchildren, and his sister Pauline Signorelli. Arrangements were made by Thomas Gentile Funeral Home in Hackensack. Pearl Spector of Franklin Lakes died May 26. She was 86. Before retiring in 1993, she was the Point of Sales Store Services supervisor for the Grand Union Corporation in Wayne, where she worked for 40 years. A resident of Franklin Lakes since 1965, she was a member of the Franklin Lakes Board of Adjustment where she served as the board’s vice chairman. She served on the Franklin Lakes Borough Council and the Franklin Lakes Board of Health. She was a driver for the Franklin Lakes Meals on Wheels program. She had served as municipal chairman of the borough’s Republican County Committee, past president/ member of the Franklin Lakes Republican Club, and chair of the District 40 Republican County Committee. She was a member of the Ridgewood Unit of Republican Women and the Bergen County Republican Women. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Mary Jane Van Ness, nee McEvoy, of Ridgewood and Hewitt, formerly of Radburn and Ridgewood, died May 31. Before retiring, she was an executive secretary with Sherwood Pharmaceuticals in Mahwah. She was parish secretary at All Saints Episcopal Church in Glen Rock. She is survived by her children Peter H. Van Ness of Hewitt, Paul W. Van Ness of Midland Park, and David K.
