Historical program (continued from page 4) Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. “This is just the kind of project that is ideal for our local TV station,” Burke commented. “I am hoping with the help and cooperation of many people to produce a program that is both informative and entertaining.” The program will be modeled after the successful Ken Burns programs on PBS. Any citizens who have materials, information, or skills that would enhance the project are encouraged to help. “There is a vast pool of production and research talent here in our borough and I warmly encourage anyone interested to join us,” Burke said. “We need volunteers to help produce certain segments, camera people, researchers, and we are even hoping to have some music composed by local musicians especially for this project.” Arnao added, “The production crew has already been approached by several townspeople who have offered a treasure trove of photographs and other materials.” Prominent citizens such as Alan Deaett have offered access to their archives of historical photos and documents. Anyone interested in participating in this project may contact the GRTV team at byron@glenrocktv.org or at ted@glenrocktv.org. Glen Rock Television is a 24-hour independent public access not-for-profit channel dedicated to serving Glen Rock. GRTV is available currently on Cablevision Channel 77 and Verizon FiOS Channel 32.
