The business opened its doors in mid-January, or eight snowstorms ago, Dave quips. Once the Waldwick location is up and running, Dave and Michael have set their sights on opening Dave and Michael Sypen in two additional locations to be announced. New York Bagel Café & Deli offers 17 varieties of bagels, from plain to chocolate chip. The flavored cream cheese selections include sweet and savory options such as veggie, scallion and bacon, walnut raisin, honey almond, olive pimiento, and lox. Dave recommends strawberry cream cheese on a french toast bagel for those who want to indulge a sweet tooth. Customers who order a sandwich, hero, wrap, or panini can expect top quality Boar’s Head cold cuts, which are also sold by the pound at competitive prices. Dave and Michael also carry a full line of sodas, iced teas, and fruit juices. The shop features Green Mountain Coffee in three blends, and flavored coffees. Dave and Michael invite everyone to stop by, introduce themselves, and request a free 12-ounce coffee. New York Bagel Café & Deli comes to Waldwick D Small World Child Development Center mall World was developed by a certified school teacher, Helen Lacognata, who believes each child thrives in a small comfortable classroom setting. If a child enjoys going to school, he or she will flourish academically. Helen is the owner and on site director of Small World Child Development Center Inc. There are currently two separate locations. The first location in Park Ridge has been successfully operating for years. In September 2000 Small World opened a Small World Child Development Center second location at 94 Crescent Avenue in Waldwick. Small World offers quality flexible programs for children two months up until 6 years old. Part time and full time preschool classes are available for children as young as 18 months. Programs for infants and young toddlers begin as early as two months old. A kindergarten and school age enrichment program is available with transportation to and from your child’s public school. The center is currently open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Small World has created a drop-in program to accommodate the needs of many parents. Saturday drop-off services will be available soon. Extracurricular activities include tumbling, special guests, soccer, computers, and music. Summer Camp is always an adventure at Small World.
