Joel Torielli was appointed to replace Beth Lorenz, whose unexpired term will end on June 30. Hans-Jurgen Lehmann has been appointed to fill Torielli’s spot as the #1 alternate member of the board. Shiroy Ranji Council names appointees has been appointed to the #2 alternate spot vacated by Lehmann. In other business, Kathleen Marshall was named the Ridgewood Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board’s liaison to the Open Space, Recreation Farmland and Historian Preservation Committee through Dec. 31. The SouperBowl of Caring program utilizes the energy and excitement generated around the Super Bowl to encourage people to give to help fight hunger in their local communities.
