Do you have wonderful old photos you would like to share? Self-publishing is easy and affordable with anyone with a computer, scanner, and some time. On Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m., GRJC will host a presentation by Janet Isenberg, who has self-published a number of her own memoirs. The community is welcome to attend this free event, which is part of the Synagogue Leadership Initiative’s One Book/One Community program. Isenberg will also discuss “My Father’s Paradise” by Ariel Sabar, which concerns the author’s discovery of his family’s past. Sabar’s father’s journey begins in a tiny Jewish enclave in what is now the autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq.
