Township plans 9/11 services and memorials
Residents in Wyckoff will observe the Tenth Anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with services and memorials beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 with
a Mass at Saint Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue. The church will dedicate a 9/11 memorial on its campus immediately following the Mass. The memorial includes
Matthew Goerke, an expert in memory development, will be the guest speaker at the Wyckoff Chamber of Commerce’s meeting on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Larkin House, 380 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff. Goerke will share his techniques for developing instant recall memory. He has trained executives from corporations, including AT&T, Prudential, Exxon, and
Goerke to address Chamber
Coldwell Banker. This meeting will feature the Wyckoff Chamber’s new Member Showcase. Each month, a Chamber member will be chosen to introduce and promote his or her business to the membership. a piece of steel from the World Trade Center and plaque. In remembrance of 11 township residents lost on Sept. 11, 2001, a tree will be planted at Memorial Town Hall, 340 Franklin Avenue, at 5 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m. Wyckoff Fire Protection Company #1, located at 1 Scott Plaza, will hold a remembrance ceremony at the Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial. All are invited to attend these memorial services.
