Admission is free. The school is located on Greenwood Avenue in Wyckoff. The event is sponsored by the Saint Elizabeth Home School Association. Multi-chamber event set The Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, Allendale, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Waldwick chambers of commerce will hold a multi-chamber business card exchange on Monday, Nov. 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Blue Moon Café, 327 Franklin Avenue in Wyckoff. Advance registration is $20, and includes the Blue Moon Taco Bar. A cash bar will be open during the event. Please note that the fee will be $25 at the door. Christmas Boutique comes to de Snoep Winkel A Christmas Boutique and Open House will be held at the Christian Health Care Center’s de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop and Tea Room on Nov. 11 and 12. Knights host Wine Tasting benefit The Saint Elizabeth Council of the Knights of Columbus will host a Wine Tasting Benefit on Friday, Nov. 18 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Brick House Restaurant, 179 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff. The evening will feature a full buffet dinner with a sampling of wines. Annual Holiday Fair set The Wyckoff Reformed Church will hold its annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature handmade items, consignment shopping, gifts, attic treasures, books and CDs for sale, gift baskets, lunch, homemade desserts and breads, games, and pictures with Santa. There will be a prize basket fundraiser and a special auction featuring vacation weeks, sporting events tickets, Broadway tickets, gift certificates, and more. Opera company presents ‘Barber of Seville’ The Wyckoff Family YMCA’s in-house opera company will present Rossini’s twoact rendition of “The Barber of Seville” on Nov. 18 at the Y, 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff. Directed by Reegan McKenzie with musical direction by Georgianna Pappas, this one-time performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and include a preshow reception, a reception during intermission, and preferred seating. Seniors plan events The Wyckoff Seniors have planned multiple events for the coming months. On Nov. 16, the seniors will travel to the Westchester Broadway Theater for a luncheon and the show, “My Fair Lady.” A trip to the Brownstone in Paterson for lunch and entertainment is planned for Dec. 20. The Wyckoff Seniors Club meets every Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. in the Larkin House located at 380 Godwin Avenue. I was raised in Wyckoff, and my mother still resides there. You are being asked to vote for two candidates for township committee. I ask you to please vote for Tom Madigan and Doug Christie. I have known Tom and his family for over 20 years. His commitment to the community can not be questioned. After his years of coaching kids, serving on the board of education, he was asked to serve on the Wyckoff Township Committee. During his short time there, Tom and I have worked on few things that were of concern to him for Wyckoff residents. Each and every time Tom has proven to be passionate and committed. This non-profit consignment shop is staffed by volunteers from five Wyckoff School PTOs, the Ramapo APTS, and the Indian Hills PTSO. The shop sells gently used clothing and Library hosts fall small household items to directly benefit children’s programs the local schools. I am imploring you to come out and support Tom Madigan and Doug Christie. I have been a Wyckoff resident for 28 years and have worked in town for 26. My family and I have known Tom Madigan for over 20 years. We have been through his ups and downs. He is a good man and a loving father and husband. He has served our community on the board of education, and more recently as a township committeeman. I am honored to support him in his run for reelection and Doug Christie.
