Peter J. Andre of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Wyckoff, died Oct. 29. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He served as the executive vice president of the Bowery Savings Bank, was a consultant for Mayor Koch during the late 1970s, and retired in 1990 as president of the Northfield Savings Bank in Staten Island. Throughout his career he had great impact on the automation of the savings bank industry and served on several international banking committees. He was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church and formerly of First Christian Reformed Church where he served on the church council. He is survived by his children Claire White of North Haledon and Wayne Andre of Franklin Lakes, three grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Mae Andre (nee Casteline). Arrangements were made by Vander PlaatVermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes. Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Road, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Dorothy A. Graff, nee Yerke, of Ramsey, formerly of Clifton, died Oct. 28. She was 88. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7165. Before retiring, she was a quality control inspector for Permanent Label Corp in Clifton. She is survived by her children William, and Leonard, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her sister Theresa Maruhnich. She was predeceased by her husband William, and her siblings William Yerke, Frances Ross, and Vera Branning. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Sheppard “Shep” D. Huntington of Ridgewood died Oct. 27. He was 60. He worked until 2006 as a financial planner

He is survived by his wife Kerry (Hunter) Huntington, his children Kelly Huntington and Tim Huntington, and grandson Tristan Huntington, his siblings Rick Huntington, Russ Huntington, and Karla Huntington, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Dick Huntington, and a nephew, Russel R. Huntington Jr. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Josephine Elle Rispoli of Saddle River died Oct. 23. She was 7. Memorial visitation with family is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road in Westwood. A memorial service will be held Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 32 Pascack Road in Woodcliff Lake. Bernadette Saco of New York City, New York, formerly of Franklin Lakes, died Oct. 31. She was 58. She was the director of office staff at Hughes Hubbard in New York City for the past 20 years. She is survived by her siblings Christopher Saco, Jeanne Mickel, Jacqueline Kossl, and Beverly Guido, and six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Louis Saco. Elaine V. “Lisa” Weir of Mahwah, formerly of Elmwood Park, died Nov. 1. She was 80. She had been an office administrator with the Borough of Elmwood Park and several local companies. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 147 of Elmwood Park and a parishioner of Saint Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn. She is survived by her daughters Diane Homler of Mahwah and Denise Tahali of Boca Raton, Florida, two grandchildren, her sister Rosemarie Toomey of Ridgefield Park, and her caregiver Paulette Spearman. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Weir, and her parents Sadie and Patrick Lisa. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn. Frances Susel Wroclawski of Indian Trial, North Carolina, formerly of Midland Park, died Oct. 28. She was 91. She was born in Nadanje Selo, Italy. She was a U.S. Women’s Army Corps veteran of WWII. She had owned a floral business in New Jersey. She was the founder of the SAGES (Seniors Aging Gracefully) in Lake Park, North Carolina. She is survived by her children Janet and Jimmy Hudson of Waxhaw, North Carolina and Richard and Vicki Wroclawski of Colleyville, Texas, one granddaughter, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jan Wroclawski, her parents Frances and Anton Susel, and her brother Edward Susel. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff.
