TO THE WYCKOFF TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE
RE-ELECT
FOR POSITIVE, BALANCED LEADERSHIP
I love Wyckoff and I love serving the people of this great community. This November 8, I will continue to stand for:
Maintaining low municipal tax rates
My Record on Taxes
• implemented strict austerity measures • reduced the number of Township employees by retirements and attrition • support for a town-wide property tax reassessment • only a 1.2% annual average increase in Township expenses despite dramatic hikes in state-mandated payments for public pensions and health benefits • first Committeeman to refuse the stipend (cumulative savings to date: $64,000) • introduced the Nifty Fifty recycling initiative (potential savings annually: $100,000) • increased shared services to save taxpayer dollars • declined entry into the state pension plan • common-sense fiscal conservatism
Sustaining our town character and quality of life
My Record on Behalf of Wyckoff
• assisted in securing a record $1.9 million grant for the Russell Farms acquisition and a recommendation of a $1.3 million grant for proposed the Maple Lake Preserve • working to prevent overdevelopment and reduce traffic congestion • strong supporter of our volunteer organizations including our Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, CERT, and Recreation Program • initiated pedestrian safety improvements • providing special assistance to seniors on tax, health, and transportation issues • wrote and introduced the outdoor dining ordinance • initiated Wyckoff participation in the Sustainable Jersey program • sponsored no idling campaign in school drop-off/pick-up areas • support for additional measures to improve public safety
