County holds free shredding event On Saturday, April 2, Bergen County will hold a free shredding event for all county residents. The event will be held at the Waldwick Administration Building, 63 Franklin Turnpike in Waldwick. Bergen County residents are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to safely destroy confidential documents and prevent identity theft. Residents are reminded not to include binders, plastic, metal pieces (paper clips), and X-rays. All shredded materials will be taken to a recycling facility. Gibbons to discuss Yeats and Irish history Professor Seamus Aidan Gibbons of Bergen Community College will present “The Poetry of Yeats: An Overall View of Irish History” to the Irish American Unity Conference 5th and 9th CD Chapter on Wednesday, April 13.
