Desperate, John seeks out a man (Liam Neeson) who has written a book about his successful escape from prison. John comes to believe the only way to free Lara is to arrange a prison break. The film engages the viewer as John methodically plans to spring Lara and subsequently disappear. Director Paul Haggis quickly takes viewers through the lengthy appeal and John’s perseverance in a few brief scenes so the film can concentrate on John planning the jail break. Bonuses include deleted and extended scenes, cast moments, a making-of short film, and “True Escapes for Love.” “Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Two Man Group” (Image Entertainment) is a live stage show starring the two comics who appeared on the Emmy-winning “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” These veterans of improv comedy have performed their wild and outrageous shows to audiences nationwide. Their shows are interactive and completely improvised. No two performances are ever the same. This involves amazingly quick minds, a lightning-fast sense of a few audience volunteers, Mochrie and Sherwood create original, hilarious scenes. The show is just over one hour. Special features include “The Do’s and Don’ts of Improv” and interviews with the two comics. FINLEY FINLEY “Hannah Montana Forever: Final Season” (Disney Home Entertainment) concludes the saga of the famous Disney heroine. Throughout its run of original episodes, “Hannah Montana” ranked as the year’s #1 cable series among kids six through 11 and “tweens” nine through 14 in 2006, 2007, and 2010. With themes ranging from “express yourself” to “follow your dreams,” the live-action comedy series introduced typical teen Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus), who lives with her elder brother and widowed dad (Billy Ray Cyrus), a songwriter. What her friends and classmates don’t realize is that Miley leads a secret double life: She is the worldfamous pop star Hannah Montana. Miley finds herself at a crossroads during her senior year. Will she continue her alter-ego, or will she leave it all behind? The two-disc DVD set includes all 13 episodes from the final season, three bonus features, and a 28-page commemorative Hannah Montana memory book of show trivia and a Hannah Montana photograph with signature. “A Film Unfinished” (Oscilloscope), a documentary by Yael Hersonski, features 60 minutes of raw film found undisturbed in an East German archive at the end of World War II. Shot by the Nazis in Warsaw in May 1942, and simply labeled “Ghetto,” this footage became a resource for historians seeking an authentic record of the Warsaw Ghetto. However, the later discovery of a long-missing reel, including multiple takes and cameramen staging scenes, complicated earlier interpretations of the footage. “A Film Unfinished” presents the raw footage in its entirety, carefully noting fictionalized sequences, including a staged dinner party falsely showing “the good life” enjoyed by Jewish urbanites.
