Computer courses offered to seniors The Computer Learning Center at the Northwest Bergen Regional Senior Center is offering computer courses for seniors. These courses range from four to eight weeks and meet for 90-minute sessions. Spring courses include classes for beginners; navigating the Internet; e-mail; highlighting, copying, and Pasting; Microsoft Word 2007; and Picassa. The Northwest Bergen Regional Senior Center is located at 46-50 Center Street in Midland Park, and is open to all area senior citizens age 60 and up. Komen for the Cure will hold a “Ski for the Cure” night on Thursday, March 3 at Campgaw Mountain in Mahwah from 5 to 8 p.m. Lift tickets will be available for $5 to anyone wearing a pink ribbon. Ribbons will be available at the door for a $2 donation. Participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes donated by area merchants. The Komen North Jersey booth will be open to assist those who want more information on breast health and how to sign up for the May 15 Komen Race for the Cure in West Orange.
