Special screening of ‘Goldrush’ set Comic actor Charlie Chaplin’s renowned film, “Goldrush,” will be screened at Temple Emanuel of North Jersey, 558 High Mountain Road, on Sunday, July 17 at 3 p.m. A romp through the wilds of Alaska, this film kept the original 1925 silent film audiences on the edge of their seats. Animal shelter offers obedience classes The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. will offer basic and advanced obedience group classes at the VFW Hall in Franklin Lakes on Thursday evenings. Registration is under way for a basic obedience class at 6 p.m. and an advanced class at 7:20 p.m. Classes will begin June 30. Space is limited. The fee is $145 or $130 for RBARI alumni. One of the contracts covered 200607, and another contract covered 200708, 2008-09, and 2009 through June 30, 2010. In the one-year contract, the RIHEA received a 4.4 percent salary increase. The three-year contract included salary increases of 4.42 percent for 2007-08, 4.43 percent for 2008-09, and 4.44 percent for 2009-10.
