Page 16 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • January 26, 2011 Obituaries Robert C. Dansen of Green Pond and Naples, Florida, formerly of Rochelle Park, Wyckoff, Mahwah, and Dearborn, Michigan, died Jan. 18. He was 94. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Early in his career, he worked with Ford Motor Company. Before retiring in 1993, he owned and operated Muller Brothers, an automotive paint supplier in Paterson for 30 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE #2010 in Naples, Florida, the First Baptist Church in Naples, and the Green Pond Bible Chapel. He is survived by his wife Clarice R. Brock Dansen; daughter Diane R. Dansen of North Chili, New York; step-children Ruth Higgins, Barbara Ciampa, Beverly Witte, William Brock Jr., and Kenneth Brock; four grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 18 step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Lucille “Pat” (nee Moran), and his daughter Linda A. Mitchell. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. He was a graduate of Ramapo High School, where he participated in many activities. He co-captained the football and lacrosse teams. He graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Class of 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing, and was co-captain of the lacrosse team. He was currently employed as the regional marketing manager for L’Oreal Redken Division in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his mother Jane Donlan, his father William Donlan, his siblings Kelly and Kevin, his grandfather James J. Chapman and his wife Muriel, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Fulco of Wyckoff, formerly of Bergenfield, Robert C. Dansen died Jan. 14. He was 80. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an insurance underwriter with Murray, Schoen, and Homer of the Hartford Agency. He later became a delicatessen associate for the Shop-Rite Food Store of Northvale. He was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth R.C. Church of Wyckoff. He is survived by his children Lisa Fulco of North Haledon and Joseph of Wyckoff, and his siblings Lena Lagana of Chappaqua, New York and Leonard of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. Matarese of Franklin Lakes died Jan. 12. He was 82. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his son John of Franklin Lakes, and his step-daughters Brenda Albertini of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Debra O’Reilly of Fair Lawn, and his siblings Grace Surgent of Elmwood Park and Frank Matarrese of Cummings, Georgia. Church in Ramsey. He is survived by his wife Marion (nee Wichlinski) of Franklin Lakes, his children Diane Lana of Hawthorne, Joan Berger of Mahwah, Stanley Milewski of Hewitt, and Stephanie Milewski of Franklin Lakes, eight grandchildren, and his siblings Dolores Fronczkowski of Long Island, Natalie Porus of Oakland, and Edward Miller of Jackson. He was a field engi- neer for Unisys Corp. in Roseland for 39 years. He was a member of the Ridgewood Camera Club. He is survived by his wife Waltraud (nee Schade) Steinmeyer of Waldwick, his children Lisa Steinmeyer and Mark Steinmeyer, both of New York City, one granddaughter, and his siblings Klaus Steinmeyer of Cooperstown, New York and Louise Hoar of Granby, Connecticut. Before retiring, he was a printer with the Herald News in Clifton, and the owner of Vogel Print Shop of Prospect Park. He was a former lieutenant with the Prospect Park Fire Department, and a member of the retired exempt fireman of Prospect Park. He was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in North Haledon. He is survived by his wife Jessie Vogel (nee Dykhouse) of Wyckoff; his children John Vogel of Tuscon, Arizona, Tom Vogel of Hamburg, Jim Vogel of Franklin Lakes, Jerry Vogel of Lincoln Park, Henry Vogel of Warwick, New York, and Sheri Lynn Mulcock of North Haledon; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was vice president of operations at Bendix, Kearfott, and Singer, and taught at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is survived by his children Douglas of Paradise Valley, Arizona and Susan Barkauskas of Allendale, two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, and his brother Arthur C.
