Page 12 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • January 19, 2011 Business On Jan. 26, six local chambers of commerce will meet in Franklin Lakes to discuss business-building concepts for 2011. This second annual Bergen County Multi-Chamber Networking Event is being hosted by the Franklin Lakes Chamber of Commerce. Chambers based in Allendale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park, Waldwick, and Wyckoff have been invited. Waldwick hosted the first multi-chamber meeting in 2010, and Franklin Lakes decided to build on the success of that event. Next week’s networking session will be held at Endless Vine at 825 Franklin Lake Road (next to the Market Basket) in Franklin Lakes from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is $15 per person and will include a light dinner buffet, special prices on selected wines, the opportunity to network, and a presentation by guest speaker G. Mitchell Multi-chamber event coming to Franklin Lakes Hartman of Dale Carnegie Training. Hartman will present “Ideas to Grow Your Business in 2011.” Event organizers believe January is the perfect time to reflect on how to make the coming year a success, share ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of their peers from other towns. Many concerns are the same from town to town, and the multi-chamber session allows people to hear how others are successfully resolving their issues. Local chamber members note that they are very active in their respective communities and believe strong commerce adds to a town’s desirability. Chamber members are encouraged to attend this upcoming event and support the local businesses. Payment will be accepted at the door. RSVP to Pat Mazzacano at (201) 970-5713 or at pat@villadom.com. The deadline has been extended to Jan. 24. Wyckoff Y holds annual meeting The Wyckoff Family YMCA will hold its Annual Board Meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 8 a.m. in Y’s Performing Arts Center at 691 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff. The meeting agenda will also include an overview of missions and goals for the coming year, a review of the successes of the Y’s community partnerships, the swearing in of officers, and election of board members for a three-year term. A light breakfast will be served. The public is invited to attend. The non-profit Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff, which was founded in 1911, kicked off its centennial celebration by hanging celebratory banners on its campus.
