Rooney named mayor; Scanlan withholds vote
by John Koster During the annual reorganization session, the Wyckoff Township Committee unanimously appointed Kevin Rooney as mayor for 2011 and Christopher De Phillips as deputy mayor, but Brian Scanlan, the governing body’s lone Democratic member, abstained from approving the appointees to the various municipal boards.
