Smith evolved from the artist’s many years of creating humorous cards involving mice and other small creatures for his wife, BethAnn. Finley’s creator, Gary Smith, is a research chemist by day and cartoonist by night. FINLEY Members and affiliates of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association recently delivered food and household items to the New Jersey National Guard’s food pantry located at the Teaneck Armory. ‘Finley’ comic strip debuts today by G.M. Smith The comic strip’s protagonist, Finley, is a recently unemployed field mouse who travels to “Big City” to look for his 426 brothers and sisters.
