The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ramapo College and is earning a master’s degree in special education at Felician College. She is currently a pre-K teacher at Saint Paul’s School in Ramsey. Her fiancé is a graduate of New York’s The School of Visual Arts with a BFA in film and acting. He is employed at his families business, Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery and Florist. An October 2011 wedding is planned. Mr. and Mrs. George Mellides of Allendale have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren, to Dimitri Venekas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyriakos Venekas of Brooklyn, New York. The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Northern Highlands High School and received a degree in economics from Rutgers University in 2005. She is currently completing her master’s in business administration at William Paterson University. She has been employed by Stryker Orthopedics in Mahwah for the last five years and currently holds the position of global brand manager. Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and received his degree in integrated information systems from Long Island University in 2002. He is a systems administrator at Moon Capital Management in New York City. A winter 2011 wedding is planned. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fazio of Midland Park have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie, to Gregory Goodman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goodman of Franklin Lakes. The bride-to-be graduated from Midland Park High School in 2001. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from The College of New Jersey in 2005. She is currently employed as a professional liability underwriter for Ironshore Insurance Services in New York City. Her fiancé graduated from Ramapo High School in 1999 and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in 2003. He is a vice president, wealth management advisor, and certified financial planner with the Dineen & Goodman Group of MerrillLynch in Fort Lee. An August 2011 wedding is planned.
