Reflections On Ramsey Businesses
he end of a marriage or a long-term relationship can be devastating. Life Coach Beth Tiger understands, and is ready to help individuals handle the next phase of their lives. For the past five years, Beth has been coaching and presenting an eight-week workshop, “Flying Solo: Life after Divorce,” at various venues, including the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. On Jan. 1, she opened the doors of “A Life Well Lived: A Center for Inspired Living,” thereby realizing her dream of having a local center where people can learn how to make a period of change a constructive time. The center is located on the second floor of 43 Spring Street in Ramsey, and offers life coaching services, support for single parents, a sisterhood circle, meditation, a spiritual book group, and tools for personal growth, including books on wellness and a selection of fair Beth Tiger trade items. An MSW visits the center once a week and therapeutic massage is offered. The services offered at the center are by appointment or pre-registration only. Beth says she keeps groups limited to 10-15 participants, so everyone has an opportunity to be heard, have a cup of tea, and speak with like-minded people. Parking spaces are available in a convenient rear lot. Beth has reached out to work with other local business owners. “We’re creating a wellness community,” she says, adding, “We have a great group of local talent.” Beth invites the community to attend an Open House at the center on April 2 from noon to 4 p.m. She will discuss the center’s mission while visitors enjoy light refreshments. Complimentary chair massages will be offered, with any donations being given to Raphael’s Life House in Elizabeth. Beth explained that this charity is an outreach of Covenant House that helps homeless pregnant women and their children. For more information, call (845) 258-0333 or visit www.alifewellived.com.
