New calendar
(continued from page 11) “It is anticipated that this will be a must-have reference for all residents that will be kept securely in the resident’s kitchen drawer or similar location,” Hart said, adding that the current plan is to prepare and send out the handbook every three years. “By placing an ad in the handbook, you would have your business ad in front of residents for this three-year period,” Hart told business owners. The borough gave local businesses an opportunity on a first come, first served basis to advertise in the calendar or the handbook. Each ad in the calendar costs $400, while the ads in the handbook cost $1,000. Hart advised last week that only a few ad spaces are left and they are in the calendar. He said it is expected that the resident handbook will be mailed out with the calendar in December.
