Before his retirement in 1983, he was an electrical technician for Coulter Electronics in Union. He was previously employed by ITT and Western Union. He was a school crossing guard in Wyckoff for 18 years. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 279 of Lincoln Park and a former member of the Lincoln Park Volunteer First Aid Squad. He is survived by his wife Ruth (nee Runge), his daughter Deborah McGurk of California, his stepchildren Susan Terris of California, Nancy Streaser of Ridgewood, Alexander Hryncewich of Maryland, and James Hryncewich of Oregon, and six grandchildren. Guerrasio of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Carlstadt, died July 23. He was 64. He was a member of the Army National Guard. Before retiring in 2009, he was a partner and CPA with KPMG in Manhattan for over 40 years. He was a member of Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell and Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes. He had been a volunteer fireman in Medford, New York. He was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Franklin Lakes. He is survived by his wife Doris (nee Nicholson), his daughters Sally Tryon of Oakland and Edna Sanfilippo of Hoboken, one granddaughter, his stepmother Ruth Guerrasio of Brightwaters, New York, and his brothers James and Andrew, both of Medford, New York, Philip of Port Jefferson, New York, and Warren of Mastic, New York, and 13 nieces and nephews. Hovey of Waldwick, formerly of Wyckoff, died July 21. He was 65. He was an inventory clerk for American Musical Supply of Oakland. He was a member of the Ridgewood United Methodist Church. He is survived by his siblings Kenneth Hovey of Franklin Lakes, John Hovey of Wyckoff, and Suzanne Landshof of Carmel, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Parks), his children Clare Crowley of Stewart, Florida, Arthur Ramsdell of Saddle River, Betsy Trum of Ramsey, and Jane Certo of Ridgewood, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children Kevin and Kristin Ryffel, both of Oakland, his mother Betty Ryffel of Wyckoff, and his brothers Matthew Ryffel of Wyckoff and John Ryffel of Alma, Georgia. She was a parishioner of Saint Anthony’s RC Church in Hawthorne. She is survived by her sister of Barbara Kozell of Wyckoff, and her nieces and nephews. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was owner and president of Selbach-Meyer Steel Corp. in West New York. He was a life member of the VFW Post #7086 in Midland Park, the American Legion, and a member of the Masonic Lodge #194 in Ridgefield Park. He served on the Palisade Savings Bank Board of Directors for 29 years and was a former member of the North Hudson Arthur F. Ramsdell Kiwanis Club, having served as president in 1956. He is survived by his daughter Jane of River Vale, one grandson, three great-grandchildren, and his sister Gloria Deutsch of Cliffside Park. Born in Nanjing, she was raised in Qingdao, China. She graduated from high school as the valedictorian of the Shandong Province. She earned a full academic scholarship to Beijing Normal University and majored in history and geography. Before retiring, she was a high school teacher in Beijing, China. She represented the Shandong Province nationally in volleyball and basketball. She is survived by her children Dashi Yang of Beijing, Dr. Min Yang of Ridgewood, and Daying Yang of Beijing, and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Professor Xiangkui Yang. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburg Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Ronald Toci of Manahawkin, formerly of Mahwah and Emerson, died July 27. He was 71. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Before retiring in 2007, he was a custodian at Northern Highlands High School in Allendale. After retiring, he was a security guard at Westwood High School in Westwood. He is survived by his children David Toci and Laura Bachmann, five grandchildren, and his brother Dennis Toci. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Jane (nee Bilowith). Vozeh, nee Durando, of Ramsey, formerly of Little Ferry, died July 26. She was 94. She had been employed as treasurer and office manager of the R.A. Hamilton Corporation for more than 25 years. She was the founder and first president of the Woman’s Club of Little Ferry, which was federated in March 1966. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Little Ferry, where she served as trustee and on the Leadership Committee. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Hackensack Hospital and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Ramsey, where she was treasurer of the Altar Guild and a member of the Braille Team. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn (Lynn) Huggard, and daughter-in-law Karen Vozeh, five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
