Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • April 13, 2011 Midland Park Midland Park’s former recreation director Lori Dent was honored during the opening day ceremonies of the Midland Park Baseball and Softball Associations for her contributions to the borough’s recreation programs. Baseball Association President Tom Bardzell praised Dent for being the person “to lean on and help us with anything we needed,” while players and parents around the field called out, “thank you, thank you.” Dent told the crowd assembled at the Dairy Street field after the traditional parade, that she considered it an honor to have been invited to the opening day event and that she appreciated the opportunity to say thank you to the people who helped with the recreation programs in the 10 years she had been in the borough. “You all made it work.
