Lillian M. Boyd of Wyckoff, formerly of Paterson and Norfolk, Virginia, died March 29. She was 90. She had worked at Universal Manufacturing in Paterson for 32 years. After retirement, she worked at the Antique Garden in Haledon, and later at Boyd’s Ltd. in Ridgewood. She is survived by her son Glenn W. Boyd of Wyckoff, and grandchildren Patrick and Sean Boyd. She was predeceased by her brothers William and Charles Franklin. Heather Davis of Franklin Lakes died March 18. She was 81. She was a secretary for the John C. Conklin Insurance Agency in Hackensack for many years. She is survived by her daughter Sue Anne Mather of Franklin Lakes, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Arrangements were made by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Robert James Frankel of Saddle River, formerly of Englewood, died March 29. He was 92. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he was the owner of The Titan Group Inc. of Park Ridge. He is survived by his daughters Carole Vince, Joni Rose, Dorothy Frankel, Bonnie DeMilia, AnnaBelle Koffler, Billie Jeanne Kiernan, Elizabeth Salome, and Jacqueline Jensen Frankel, 10 grandchildren, and his sister Helen R. Frankel. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Michaels. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Marion J. Geary, nee Hamelink, of Midland Park died March 29. She was 79. She was the owner/operator of Library Binding Corporation. She is survived by her children Thomas W. Geary of Vernon, Joseph P. Geary of Mays Landing, Janet Meseck of Vernon, and Karen O’Connor of Milford, Pennsylvania, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Geary. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. She was a founding member of the Ringwood Library and had been a member of the Ringwood Board of Education for many years. She attended services at Grace Bible Church in North Haledon. She is survived by her children Stephen J. Huebner of Hawthorne, Charles M. Huebner of Hopewell, and Jeffrey J. Huebner of West Milford, six grandchildren, and her niece Carol MarichGorman of Garfield. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen F. Huebner. She is survived by her children Barna Solomon, Susan Josephson, and Penny Mittleman, six grandchildren, stepchildren Francine Rosenberg, Helene Rubin, and Barry Kaplan and their children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands Nat Tereno, Sam Silverman, and Sol Kaplan. Arrangements were made by Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors in Hackensack. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Donald Lucas of Hawthorne died March 25. He was 81. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran. Before retiring in 1980, he had been a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Midland Park for 31 years. He was a member of Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park for over 50 years, where he served as a deacon and elder. He is survived by his wife Irene, his children Shari Lucas of Niantic, Connecticut and Scott of Fair Lawn, and three grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. She is survived by her children Karen Younce of Studio City, California, Debra Stanzione of Saddle Brook, Kenneth Post of Las Vegas, Nevada, and James Post of Antelope, California, two grandchildren, and her brother John O’Donnell. She was predeceased by her sister Floretta Cluney. Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross on behalf of the victims from the Japanese disaster. Helen Roslasky, nee Ribnick, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Garfield, Paterson, Wayne, and Glen Rock, died March 25. She was 82. She had been employed as a secretary for Passaic County Motor Trucks and Parts in Saddle Brook. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Kooz of Franklin Lakes, and her grandson Kevin Kooz. John Thomas Verdeauz of Norfolk, Massachusetts, formerly of Midland Park, died March 24. He was 60. He was a 1969 graduate of Midland Park High School, and Seton Hall University in 1973. He was an automotive mechanical engineer and had worked for the British Leland Motors Network and its New England dealerships as an instructional engineer for many years. He was an ASE certified mechanic. He is survived by his wife Roxanne (Lockman) Verdeaux, his children John L. Verdeaux of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Kristen S. Verdeaux of Boston, one grandson, and his sister Mary Anne Vetreno of Glastonbury, Connecticut. Arrangements were made by R. J. Ross Funeral Home in Wrentham, Massachusetts. He was 63. Before retirement he was a music teacher and band director for Ramsey High School. He was a music teacher in the Ramsey Middle School. He was a drum corps and color guard adjudicator with the Musical Arts Conference. He was a USA Cycling official, and a former vice president of the New Jersey Bicycle Association. He was a former flat track and motocross racer, and a member and officer of the Hawthorne and Fair Lawn Gun clubs. He is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Bell) Young, his son Christian Young of Brick, and one grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mildred Young. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
