Saint John’s hosts Rummage Sale Saint John’s Memorial Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Main Street and Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey, will hold a Rummage Sale on Friday, Sept. 24 and Saturday, Sept. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. Pay one price for access to multiple unlimited activities. There will be giant inflatable slides, face painting, games, clowns, music, prizes, food, and more. All profits benefit the Tisdale PTO. Adult school accepts registrations The Ramsey Adult School has begun accepting registrations for its fall semester. The school offers a wide variety of courses taught by experienced, qualified instructors. In addition to an offering of over 350 online courses, there are also many specialty career certificate programs available. The adult school also offers nearly 40 different Broadway play trips, day trips, overnight trips, and international trips. Seniors plan Hudson River cruise The Ramsey Seniors will take a Hudson River Foliage Cruise on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Set sail aboard The Pride of the Hudson and enjoy a narrated sightseeing cruise of Bannerman Island, Storm King Mountain, Breakneck Mountain, Catskill Aqueduct, Cold Spring, West Point, and Constitution Island. Luncheon will be served at “Torches on the Hudson,” a restaurant on the waterfront. The cost is $75. Checks should be made payable to “Ramsey Seniors.” Sign up at borough hall. Please choose

West Bergen offers playgroup West Bergen Mental Healthcare’s Asperger’s Related Services Department is offering a playgroup workshop with facilitators Rachael Ostroski, M.A., Ed.S., MFT and Katie Gately, M.A. on Fridays from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. for children ages five through seven. The program, which will run from Oct. 1 through 29, is for children who need improvement in play skills with peers. Club plans Military Bridge event The Woman’s Club of Ramsey will sponsor a Military Bridge event on Oct. 30 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge located on the corner of Franklin Turnpike and Main Street, Ramsey. The evening will include a fundraiser, door prizes, and refreshments. Proceeds from the event will benefit community non-profit organizations.
