The event will be held Nov. 19, 20, and 21 at the Bishop House, 176 East Saddle River Road in Saddle River. Over 20 local merchants and vendors will be in attendance at this charitable event. Shoppers are invited to meander through the Bishop House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This three-day event will also include a variety of entertainment and events. On Friday evening, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players from City Center will perform. A Holiday Boutique & Extravaganza set dessert reception with the cast will follow. On the agenda for Saturday evening is a Wine Tasting and concert by The Ron Vincent Quartet, featuring world-renowned jazz trumpet player Warren Vache. On Sunday afternoon, there will be a book signing by international best-selling author Mary Higgins Clark. As the bodies pile up, the local sheriff tries to keep things quiet in order to keep the tourists coming and spending their money. If you think the plot sounds blatantly like “Jaws,” you get an A. The number “3” as part of the title is kind of amazing. I guess oversized crocodiles have made a place for themselves in this series that reminds me of those giant bug movies of the ‘50s, which, by the way, were more effective, even with pre-CGI special effects. There are no extras in this bare-bones DVD release.
