Bone Marrow Donor Drive set A Bone Marrow Donor Drive will be held at Bergen West Pediatric Center, PA, 541 Cedar Hill Avenue in Wyckoff on Sunday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The drive is being held in aid of an 11-year-old patient who recently was diagnosed with scute myelogeneous leukemia. Parents’ Night Out set Abundant Life Reformed Church, 475 Lafayette Avenue in Wyckoff, will host Parents’ Night Out on Friday, Nov. 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Church volunteers will mind the children to allow parents some time to start holiday shopping, take in a movie, or just enjoy some much deserved free time. Children may enjoy a movie, arts and crafts, and entertainment by Mad Science. Participants are asked to bring a canned good to be donated to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation Food Pantry. Throughout that week, several individuals will find Devon’s small white bags with orange tags “hidden” in plain sight. Inside each one will be a piece of fine jewelry. This promotion is being run in honor of Devon Fine Students and staff from Washington School in Wyckoff unified for peace on Peace Out Day, held during Violence Awareness and Prevention month (October).
