Chamber plans Holiday Luncheon
On Dec. 15, The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its Holiday Luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel, 1 International Boulevard, Mahwah. Doors will open at 11:45 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. The Chamber will be honoring the Citizen of the Year, the Company of the Year, and the Organization of the Year at this event. Music will be provided by Select Strings of Mahwah High School, under Wendy Campbell’s direction. This festive event is the Chamber’s largest luncheon of the year. Over 250 attendees are expected to join this celebration. Event organizers encourage everyone to attend with their staff members and make this holiday celebration their own companies’ holiday event. The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business Card Exchange at the Sweet Station Bakery and Café, 41 West Main Street in Ramsey, on Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. Satisfy your sweet tooth while meeting others in the local business community. The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. Prepaid registration is required to guarantee participation; an additional $5 processing fee will be charged the day of event. Networking event set for this week
Mahwah Chamber of Commerce Golf Committee Chairman Stuart Rosenberg (left) and Chamber President Annette Freund (right) recognize Lawrence R. Inserra, president of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc. (center), as MRCC’s 2010 Humanitarian of the Year. The ceremony took place at a dinner following the 19 th Annual Golf Outing at the Tuxedo Club, Tuxedo, New York. MRCC will donate $12,500 to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center as a result of this event.
