Mary S. Nielson-Angstrom of Ramsey died Feb. 19. She was 97. Arrangements were made by Van EmburghSneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Martin H. Bosworth of Los Angeles, California, formerly of Ramsey, died Feb. 17. He was 35. He was a graduate of Ramsey High School and Boston University. He was employed as managing editor and writer for ConsumerAffairs.com, and as editor of The Daily Consumer online newsletter. He had previously worked for several government and service agencies, including the Department of the Army, Walter Reed Hospital, and the District of Columbia city government. He had served as an intern for Senator Edward Kennedy. He is survived by his mother Kay Bosworth of Mahwah, his father Laurence Bosworth and his wife Judy of Northridge, California, his sister Leah Root of Rochester, New York, and one nephew. Adele Julia Cooke of Peabody, Massachusetts, formerly of Midland Park and Mahwah, died Feb. 18. She was 83. She had been an elementary school teacher in Upper Montclair and Midland Park. She was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church and sang with the Ridgewood Choral Choir. She was a volunteer at The Depot in Midland Park. She was a member of the Brooksby Protestant Faith Community in Peabody, Massachusetts. She is survived by her children Carole Adele Cooke Derr of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, and Patricia Neal Cooke Glass of Hamilton, Massachusetts, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John Raymond Cooke. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Croal of Allendale, formerly of Ramsey, died Feb. 20. He was 87. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a parishioner of Church of the Guardian Angel in Allendale. He was a member of the Ramsey Golf and Country Club, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Bergenfield. He is survived by his wife Elaine (nee Malone), and his sisters Marie Martello of Wyckoff and Margaret Noethen of Fair Lawn. He was predeceased by his brothers Daniel Croal Jr. and Kenneth Croal. Rosemary B. Gnehm, nee Balestrieri, died Feb. 20. She was 80. Before retiring, she had been employed by NJ Bell Telephone. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her husband Ernest R. Gnehm, her children Berta Swirczynki, Barbara Corradino-Gnehm, Bonnie Weppler, Brian Gnehm, and Barry Gnehm, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her sisters Anita Mekita, Genevieve DeChellis, and Dolores Casson. Arrangements were made by Barnegat Funeral Home in Barnegat. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Captain Patrick J. Murtagh of Ridgewood, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died Feb. 19. He was 61. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 38 years and served as the Captain of Operations, Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Unit. He is survived by his wife Shirley, his children Brian Murtagh and Siobhan Reilly, one grandchild, and nine siblings. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. He retired in 1972, after a career with the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife Betty (nee Colyar). He was predeceased by his son C. Richard. Arrangements were made by C.C. Zena Restivo, nee DiMauro, of Franklin Lakes died Feb. 18. She had been co-owner and head chef of Angelina’s restaurant in Atlantic City. She had been a parishioner at Saint Anthony’s in Paterson, Saint Theresa’s in Paterson, and, most recently, Saint Elizabeth’s RC Church in Wyckoff. She was a volunteer at the Fair Lawn Opportunity Center in Fair Lawn. She was active member of the Lady Elks, The Harmonettes Club, and Saint Anthony’s Senior Organization. She is survived by her children Rosemarie DeValue of Jupiter, Florida and Barbara Passalacqua of Wayne, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas M. Restivo, and her daughter Judith Restivo. Arrangements were made by Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home in Wayne. Florence “Flossi” Banks Reilly of Ho-Ho-Kus died Feb. 17. She was 86. She had been the office manager and bookkeeper for her husband’s dental practice. She had previously worked for Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia and the Tom Dewey Campaign for President. She had been a member of the Ho-Ho-Kus PTA, the Newcomers Club, the

College Club, and the Contemporary Club. She belonged to the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club. She was a member of the Ridgewood Jamboree and Capers. She was a member of the Taxpayer’s Association of Barnegat Light, the Barnegat Light Yacht Club, and the Beach Maintenance volunteers. She is survived by her husband Lee, her daughters Linda Reilly of Eugene, Oregon, Andrea Lee Reilly of Chicago, Illinois, and Wendy Jenkins of Essex Junction, Vermont, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Florence Rowe Banks and Ben C. Banks, and her brothers Joseph Banks and Jack Banks. A memorial service will be held March 22 at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Society, 113 Cottage Place, Ridgewood. Previously, she was employed at Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, New York. During WWII she worked for Prudential Insurance Company. She is survived by her son Stephen of Mahwah, and her sister Eleanor Santen of Clifton. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence. Gerald Lee Weems Jr. of Upper Saddle River died Feb. 20. He was 88. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and an aviator. He was a lifetime Boy Scout and founder of the Red Jacket Endowment Fund for Scouting. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (nee Morton), his daughter Sherry Kuehn of Marin County, California, and two granddaughters. He was predeceased by his son Bruce.
