He was employed at Boeing-Vertol for nearly 30 years. He is survived by his wife Maria, his children Anna Maria and Joe, and many relatives in Italy. She was 87. She had been a special education teacher for over 30 years in the New York City Public Schools system. She was a parishioner of Saint Leon Armenian Church in Fair Lawn. She is survived by her husband Jacques, her children Edward Nalbantian and Charles Nalbantian, three grandchildren, and her siblings Syvart Hovsepian, Sara Churukian, and Gabriel Injejikian. Douglas Neumann of Wayne, formerly of Wyckoff, died June 3. He was 65. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed as a mechanic and as an assisted service manager for Brogan Cadillac. He was a member of Saint Clement’s Episcopal Church in Hawthorne. He is survived by his children Joel Neumann, Daniel Neumann and Meredith Neumann, all of West Milford, and his mother Margaret B. Neumann of Hawthorne. Palmer of Middletown, New York, formerly of Mahwah and Haverstraw, New York, died June 2. He was 87. During World War II, she had worked for Allied Products making medical packs for the armed forces. She was a Girl Scout leader. She is survived by her nephew Robert Matson of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, her niece Trudi Prusack Derbyshire of Oakland, and her great niece Colleen Pope. Vadon of Oakland and Ocean Township, formerly of Wyckoff, died June 5. He was a doctor with an internal medicine and rheumatology practice in Elmwood Park from 1968 to 2003. From 1967 through 2003, he worked out of Barnert Hospital in Paterson, where he had served as president of the medical staff, president of the hospital, and a member of the board of trustees. He worked out of Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson from 1990 to 2003 and the Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic from 1980 to 2003. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Mahwah. He is survived by his wife Mary Adele Kochan (nee Pierson), his children Albert Vadon Jr. and Michael Vadon, both of Wyckoff, Eric Vadon and Mark Vadon, both of Seattle, Washington, Marilyn Exley of Virginia, Susan Eyrich of Lake Hopatcong, and David Vadon of Neptune. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. William O. “Bill” Wilding of Ramsey and Waldwick died June 8. He was 65. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam. Before retiring in 2002, he worked for the Waldwick Department of Public Works for 12 years. He had worked for McKee Bros. and owned and operated Niteco Transport. He worked as a commercial artist for the advertising industry. He was a member of the Ramsey Fire Department and had been a past president of the Waldwick Fire Department. He was a life member of the New Jersey Fire Department, past commander of Post 1049 VFW, and a member of American Legion 57 Bergen County. He was a Boy Scout Merit Badge counselor for 10 years. He is survived by his wife Theressa (Martin) Terry, his son David Martin, four grandchildren, his stepmother Elizabeth (Conklin), and his siblings Leslie, Betty, and Meredith.
