West Bergen is continuing to meet the needs of the communities it serves by establishing, shortly, in Oakland, a new state-of-the-art mental health center. We hope to double the number of consumers served within five years! I hope you will take a few minutes to review the articles highlighted in this special Villadom TIMES supplement honoring West Bergen. Established in 1963 as a child guidance clinic, today West Bergen has grown into a quality mental health center providing more than a dozen specialty programs in three convenient locations. Over the years, the Center for Children and Youth has become an important community service in the lives of so many, many families. To date, more than 7,000 children and their parents have been helped. West Bergen’s goal is to create a Center of Excellence – the very first choice when families need help. It is only through the dedication of the West Bergen Board of Trustees, the West Bergen Roots in the community Michael J. Tozzoli, LCSW Chief Executive Officer Kathy Mucignat and Anne O’Loughlin of the Woman’s Club of Ramsey join with youngsters in creating a Children’s Garden for West Bergen’s Center for Children and Youth.
